Tommy Cuddihy joined Just Search Group in 2025 at an exciting time with the establishment of Just HR, a boutique executive search firm specialising in senior and C-suite HR leadership roles.

He started his career in Australia as a graduate lawyer supporting property developers and private clients in private practice, and then in-house, with one of Australia’s largest commercial and private building management companies. It was at this time he developed a passion for helping clients, whether they are individual people or major organisations to achieve success.

From 2019, Tommy moved to Yokohama and initially worked as a teacher, before making the move to HR consulting. Tommy has focused on HR executive roles at both domestic and international firms, and has been able to utilise his passion for helping both clients and candidates achieve success. 

After 10 years+ of supporting clients and candidates, Tommy has developed core strengths in organisation development, succession planning, HR business partnering, talent acquisition, market mapping, and providing strategic commercial advice for decision makers with his deep understanding of traditional Japanese culture with a uniquely Australian blend of hospitality.  

Tommy believes that a fundamental element for a company to grow and succeed, are its human resource assets - and there is great power in having great people.
