Position: Associate – Corporate M&A
Client: International Law Firm
Location: Tokyo, Japan
Qualifications:
- Admission to practice as an attorney in the United States, specifically in Texas.
- A minimum of 3 years of post-qualified experience (PQE).
- Strong academic background.
- Experience handling cross-border transactions, ideally between Japan and the U.S.
- Prior experience with a major international law firm is preferred but not mandatory.
- Japanese language skills are a plus but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising on and managing a range of corporate and M&A transactions.
- Collaborating with global teams on cross-border matters, particularly those involving Japan and the U.S.
- Supporting clients with high-quality, commercially-focused legal advice in a fast-paced environment.
