• Provide legal support, including drafting and negotiating commercial contracts with clients and suppliers.
• Build relationships across various business units and functional teams.
• Proactively communicate and manage expectations with stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Manage litigation, arbitration, and mediation, in collaboration with external legal partners.

Prerequisite:

• Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in a law firm or in-house counsel role, with at least 3 years of experience considered for lawyers qualified in Japan, the US, or equivalent jurisdictions, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
• Drafting skills and proficiency in verbal and written communication in Japanese.
• Proficiency in English, with the ability to understand internal policies and business documents.
• Understanding of Japanese commercial law, civil law, data security/privacy law, and antitrust law.
