- Partner closely with investment and operations teams to address and resolve compliance- and investment-related matters.
- Support compliance monitoring and oversight activities for registered investment companies.
- Track and assess regulatory developments, updates, and guidance affecting registered investment companies, and recommend corresponding policy and procedural enhancements.
- Review and negotiate assignment, participation, subscription, limited partnership, and other investment-related agreements on behalf of the investment management clients.
- Draft and negotiate side letters for the clients.
- Support the structuring, establishment, and ongoing oversight of separately managed accounts (SMAs), including negotiation of offering and ancillary service provider agreements.
- Assist in managing external legal counsel engagements and related projects.
- Liaise with outside counsel on matters involving registered investment companies.
- Provide support on various compliance, regulatory, and legal initiatives as needed.
