Mission
- Provide legal support across a broad range of business initiatives, products, and services
- Advise on commercial contracts, strategic partnerships, new business launches, and M&A transactions
- Support regulatory compliance relating to consumer protection, advertising, e-commerce, and technology laws
- Partner closely with business, product, engineering, security, and leadership teams to enable sustainable growth
- Contribute to corporate governance matters, including shareholder meeting support
- Drive legal operations transformation through the adoption of AI, automation, and process improvements
- Support international business activities and cross-border transactions
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer in Japan (Bengoshi) or foreign qualified lawyer
- Minimum 5+ years of corporate legal experience
- Strong contract drafting, review, negotiation, and advisory experience
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working with technology, platform, e-commerce, or digital businesses is highly desirable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, business-oriented environment
- Native or fluent Japanese & Business-level English preferred
