About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Manager to lead the people agenda for the Japan business. This role will be focused exclusively on Human Resources and will play a critical role in ensuring effective HR operations, managing employee relations matters, and supporting a growing workforce.
The successful candidate will bring strong HR generalist expertise, a hands-on approach to operations, and the ability to build trusted relationships across the organization. This position also offers the opportunity to contribute to future strategic HR initiatives as the business continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all day-to-day HR operations for the Japan business.
- Manage employee relations matters, providing guidance and resolutions that align with company policies and employment regulations.
- Partner with business leaders and managers on people-related matters, including employee engagement, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, HR policies, and employment practices.
- Support workforce planning, talent management, and organizational growth initiatives.
- Oversee employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding.
- Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to ensure alignment of HR practices and priorities.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and employee experience.
- Provide HR guidance during periods of organizational growth and change.
Qualifications
Required
- Significant experience in Human Resources, ideally in a broad HR generalist capacity.
- Strong expertise in HR operations and employee relations.
Preferred
- Experience within an international or multinational organization.
