Transactions and Investments

• Lead legal execution and support for a broad range of complex transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, financings, restructurings, and other strategic investments across multiple asset classes.
• Identify, assess, and advise on legal, regulatory, and commercial risks associated with transactions, and develop practical solutions to support successful execution.
• Review, interpret, and provide advice on transaction documents, financing agreements, bond indentures, and other investment-related documentation in connection with prospective and existing investments.
• Advise on capital management initiatives and related legal documentation.
• Support investment, asset management, finance, and operating teams throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Strategic and Advisory Support

• Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting the real estate and investment management sectors and translate those developments into practical business guidance.
• Manage relationships with external counsel, including oversight of legal engagements, review of legal advice, and coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Provide support on disputes and litigation matters as required.
• Build strong partnerships with colleagues across investment, finance, tax, accounting, risk, and compliance functions to drive commercial and operational objectives.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to legal team members across the Asia Pacific region.
• Contribute to strategic projects and other ad hoc legal and business initiatives as needed.
