About the Role
This is a business-critical leadership opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition professional to lead recruitment operations across Japan.
The successful candidate will oversee an established recruitment team and drive hiring strategy, stakeholder engagement, and recruitment delivery across multiple business functions. The role combines strategic leadership with operational execution and offers significant visibility with senior business leaders and HR leadership.
This position supports substantial annual hiring activity and will be responsible for ensuring recruitment performance, process excellence, and an outstanding candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters and recruitment coordinators.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on quality, efficiency, and candidate experience.
- Support team members in achieving hiring objectives and service-level expectations.
Talent Acquisition Strategy
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with business priorities.
- Assess market trends, talent availability, and competitive hiring conditions.
- Drive continuous improvement across sourcing, selection, and recruitment processes.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner closely with hiring managers and senior business leaders.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on talent market insights and hiring strategies.
- Influence workforce planning and recruitment-related decision-making.
Recruitment Delivery
- Oversee experienced-hire recruitment across multiple functions and disciplines.
- Ensure achievement of annual hiring targets and workforce objectives.
- Monitor recruitment metrics, pipeline health, and overall hiring effectiveness.
Vendor & Agency Management
- Manage external search firms, recruitment agencies, and other talent partners.
- Evaluate supplier performance and optimize recruitment return on investment.
- Ensure recruitment activities meet quality, compliance, and governance standards.
