Yuna joined Just Legal in 2018 and has since established herself as a trusted specialist in legal and compliance recruitment across regulated industries, with a particular focus on insurance, life sciences (pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and healthtech), and fintech.
With experience covering both Japanese-qualified bengoshi and foreign-qualified attorneys, Yuna has successfully supported a wide range of mid- to senior-level hires, including multiple Head of Legal and Head of Compliance appointments for both multinational and domestic organisations.
Prior to joining Just Legal, Yuna worked in sales within the English education industry, an experience that shaped the relationship-driven approach that continues to define her consultancy today. By engaging openly and thoughtfully with both clients and candidates—seeking to understand the genuine needs of organisations as well as the true career aspirations of individuals—she builds long-lasting relationships founded on trust and meaningful value.
In 2025, Yuna received the Young Leadership Award at the Health 2.0 Conference in Dubai, in recognition of her contributions to the healthcare industry. Educated in Dubai and Australia, Yuna is highly proficient in English and brings a genuinely cross-cultural perspective to every search.
